Believing, Trusting & Sharing Jesus Christ
Welcome!
We know going to a new church (or any new place) for the first time can be intimidating and nerve-racking. As a first-time guest, we want to ensure you have the best experience when visiting Norwood Baptist Church, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.
What time is services?
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:15 AM. You can look under the Weekly Schedule tab for more information.
How long is the service?
Our services typically last around 60 minutes. Services begin with our worship team leading the church in music - our music is a mixture of hymns and more contemporary songs, with a special focus on lyrical content. The songs that we sing are a proclamation of the truths of God's Word, and we strive to pick songs that are reflective of that. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will walk us through a passage detailing biblical principles and practices that we can apply to our lives.
How should I dress?
Our culture is casual and relaxed. Dress however you feel comfortable. Come as you are and worship the Lord Jesus Christ with us!
What about my kids?
We offer a nursery for children up to 3 years old. We also have a cry room available in the back of the sanctuary for parents to take their children, if necessary, during service. We have a large window and a speaker in the cry room so you don't have to miss the music or message. Don't worry about the commotion that they make - We truly believe that the sound of children in our gathering is a beautiful testimony of God's blessings upon His people!
Do you have Sunday School?
We offer Sunday School classes at 9am every week. We have classes available for age 2 and up, as well as a nursery for babies and toddlers.
Where are you located?
We are located at 3928 Azalea Street in Norwood, LA
